Thing 23!!!!

Thank you for this opportunity. I am The 23 Things program introduced me to tools I would not have found on my own. I enjoyed the last few weeks most but all were interesting. Some of the earlier "things" made me a little crazy, mostly the editing tools. Thank you to my co-workers for helping me out. This is probably what I needed to encourage me to be more adventurous. Sooo, whats up for next year?

Week 13 Thing 21and 22

The wordle was fun. LibrayThing would be a great to keep a good read and I want to read list.

Week 12 Things 19 & 20

I enjoyed creating a map of favourite restaurants in Saskatoon. Creating the map was a breeze but I found the editing functions a bit more challenging. This might be a usefull tool for someone who is planning a trip to another city.

Week 11. Things 17 and 18

I signed up to become a diigo user and added a couple of things to my diigo page. I added a countdown Widget to my Igoogle page. Again this is interesting, but I probably will not use it in the near future. It is good to know about these "things".

Week 10 Thing 16 Twitter

I created a twitter account and I choose a few twitter streams to follow. I chose a couple of popular media streams (Canada AM and American Idol) and of course was swamped with tweets within a couple of hours. I assume that streams with specific interest would be more manageable. I can see that this might be a bit time consuming! I think I would be more inclined to continue to use Facebook rather than Twitter and certainly not both.

Week 10 Thing 15

I have limited eperience with social networking. We do have a "household" facebook account which is mostly used when friends or family tell us they have some great photos to share. I am interested in getting more engaged with social media when I have more spare time.

Week 9 Thing 14
Search your hometown if you have links to rural Saskatchewan and find
nostalgic memories - grain elevators that no longer exist, etc.
